It was a beautiful day at Leibel field where the Redmen (4-0) took on the injury plagued Greenall Griffins (0-4) from Balgonie. Balfour started off strong with a quick 2 and out from the defense, followed by a punt return for a TD by Special Teams Player of the game Riley Wilson. The offense would get in on the action later as QB Spencer Pawliw hooked up with REC Riley Hadiken to get down inside the 5 yard line. From there, RB Matt Frass finished off the opening drive by beating the Balgonie defenders to the corner for a quick 14-0 lead. Balfour would build on that lead which allowed for everyone to get into the game on this night. Week 5 will see the Redmen face their toughest opposition to date when they face the Campbell Tartans (3-1) next Thursday at Mosaic.
