2012 RMF Spring League

See below for information about this years Spring League. Last year Balfour had 16 players try out and make one of the 4 teams... this year we are looking to have over 20, so please get your registration forms in ASAP. Highly recommend this opportunity to improve your football skills.

Regina Minor Football Spring Football League is for High school age players. The league will be open to any person in grade 9, 10, or 11, who has played RMF or High School Football. The league will run from April 9 – May 16. I have attached a schedule. Click here for the schedule

Registration deadline is March 15, 2012.

The total cost is $220.00. ($200 registration fee, $20 Leibel Field resurfacing fund) The total fee must be included with a player’s registration form. These fees include RMF spring League Fees, Football Sask ID Camp registration fee, practice jersey, all practices and games on artificial turf, and the Leibel Field resurfacing fund.

Players may use RMF equipment. Practice pants will be supplied and used for games and practices. Players are responsible for their own girdles, hip, tail, thigh and knee pads (available for purchase when drawing equipment). Players can draw equipment on April 2 and 3. Our evaluation will be run in conjunction with Football Sask. Regina ID Camp ($80 for ID camp only). There will be 5 evaluations. All players will be ID’d for Football Sask. Coaches will then draft between 40-44 players to each RMF Spring League Team. Team practices will start April 16. All teams will have 4 practices, and then play their first game April 25. All teams will have two practices before each subsequent game.

Players will be expected to attend all practices and games. If you plan to play competitive baseball or attend Hockey tryout sessions in the spring, participation in the spring league may be difficult. Players will be asked to include the position played and preferred position when registering. This may or may not be the position players will be playing in the league. Players not placed on a team will be refunded $100.00.

Any questions feel free to contact me on my cell at 535-4111.
